This is not a bad sander for the money. I do wish I had spent a bit extra on the Metabo though. There is a side skirt on this which it very annoying and I will have to remove at some point and there seems to be a loose connection somewhere which is preventing the motor from engaging all the time. The grinder I received ran true, without any significant vibration, straight from the box. The only issue is the fact that the tool rest flanges are part of the wheel guard and I had to saw them off in order to use a separate sharpening jig - hence four stars. As a moderate DIYer I found this product very easy to use and it fulfilled what I expected for the money.However, I beleive that it could have done with a better locking mechanism for the plate.
